PROOF: Chinese industrial fluoride suppliers openly list sodium fluoride as ‘insecticide’ and ‘adhesive preservative’ in addition to water treatment chemical

(NaturalNews) Fluoride-pushing doctors and dentists who try to contaminate your water supply with fluoride are promoting their deadly agenda with a clever lie… a lie you will see obediently repeated in every fluoride push.
Here’s how it sounds:

Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral in the water. Our city’s water is unfortunate enough to have a low level, so we are simply adjusting the fluoride in the water to its optimum levels to improve public health.

This lie is repeated almost verbatim, across every city that seeks to poison its citizens with fluoride. Why is it a lie? Here are the five false deceptions found embedded in the statement:

Deception #1) The fluoride ADDED to the water is not “naturally occurring fluoride.” It’s a chemical byproduct often purchased from chemical plants in China (see below).

Deception #2) The false idea that ingesting fluoride is somehow good for your teeth. At best, fluoride is a topical treatment which should be swished around your mouth and then spat out. And that’s only if it’s truly natural (mineral) fluoride, not the fluosilicic acid toxins being pushed as fluoride.

Deception #3) What cities call “fluoride” is actually a toxic cocktail of over 100 deadly industrial chemicals and heavy metals, many of which are purchased in bulk from China, where industrial processing plants are trying to get rid of their excess toxic waste by labeling it “sodium fluoride.”

Deception #4) There is no such thing as a “low” level of fluoride or an “optimum” level of fluoride in drinking water. Pure drinking water should contain NO fluoride whatsoever.

Deception #5) Fluoride is “safe” for human consumption. Oh really? Then why is sodium fluoride labeled by its industrial manufacturers with stern safety warnings about causing severe harm to humans?

Chinese fluoride manufacturers openly admit to the toxicity of the chemical

Much of the so-called “fluoride” dumped into the public water supply in the USA, Canada, Australia and other nations actually comes from companies like this one in China: Fluoride Chemicals (Yunnan) Co., Ltd.

As you can clearly see on this industrial chemicals listing page of Alibaba.com, the Fluoride Chemicals Yunnan Co. offers a 98% water treatment Sodium Fluoride product with the following description for its uses:

It is used in the manufacture of effervescing steel, and the smelting and refining of light metals. It is also used in fluorination of drinking water, as a wood preservative, an adhesive preservative. An insecticide, a protective coating for metals, a pickle for steels and other metals, a flux for soldering and welding, as well as a flux and pacifier for ceramic, glass and porcelain enamel. (http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/540825136/98_min_7681_49_4_for.html)

This company also manufacturers synthetic cryolite, the fluoride-pesticide that’s being secretly sprayed on grapes and other crops, adding huge quantities of fluoride to your food (http://www.naturalnews.com/036753_fluoride_pesticides_grapes.html).

Here’s the description of synthetic cryolite, right from the industrial chemical supplier that sells it by the ton to U.S. food producers:

Uses: It’s mainly used as a flux in the aluminum smelting by fused-salt electrolysis; also an opalizer in the manufacture of enamel; an opacifier and auxiliary solvent of glass and enamel; an insecticide of crops; a flux in aluminum alloy casting; and in the production of ferrous alloy and effervescing steel; as well as a wear-resistant filler for resin and rubber-boned abrasive wheels. (http://ynfhx.en.alibaba.com/product/540022489-213372652/Synthetic_Cry…)

“Highly corrosive to human skin”

Another supplier of sodium fluoride to municipal water facilities, the Shanghai Polymet Commodities Ltd. company in China, offers the following description of its bulk fluoride chemical:

Fluosilicic Acid / hydrofluosilicic acid:
Property: Colorless, transparent and smoky liquid with penetrating odor; highly acidic; soluble in water and volatile; with disinfecting action; corrosive to glass, ceramics, lead and other metals; highly corrosive to human skin and harmful to people’s respiratory organs; keep it in a container made of plastics. (http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/523747967/Fluosilicic_Acid.html)

Yet another industrial fluoride supplier from China describes its sodium fluoride as:
used as pesticides and bactericides in agriculture. Used as UF2 adsorbent in nuclear industry. (http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/421835290/Sodium_Fluoride.html)

Another sodium fluoride supplier describes their fluoride chemicals as “A colorless crystalline or white powder, …dissolved in water, with toxic.” (http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/264259230/Sodium_Fluoride_NaF_.html)

This company goes on to describe the uses of its sodium fluoride chemicals as:
Be used as anti-corrosion agent in wood, medical corrosion, fusing in welding… manufacture of rimmed steel, treatment of hides and skins for leather industry, adhesive preservative, purification and coloring flux in the melting of light metals.

Here are two photos, taken right off the Alibaba website, showing how fluoride is promoted as an insecticide, a chemical for the nuclear industry, and a water treatment chemical all in one!

Fluoride pushers are criminals who seek to poison humanity

Keep all this in mind when your local politician says he’s going to “adjust” the levels of “naturally-occurring fluoride” in your local water supply. He’s lying to you. What he really means is that he’s going to dump a toxic pesticide chemical into the water and poison you all.

Spread the word: Sodium fluoride is poison. That’s one of the reasons why it works so well as a pesticide. Bureaucrats who try to dump this into the city water supply — like Portland Mayor Sam Adams (http://www.naturalnews.com/036965_Portland_water_fluoridation_toxic_c…) — deserve to be arrested as heinous criminals who are unleashing weapons of mass destruction against the U.S. citizenry.

EPA changes rules to allow more toxic cleaning chemicals in mainstream food

Monday, September 3
(NaturalNews)

Just in case you’ve forgotten, EPA stands for Environmental Protection Agency.
That was sarcasm. You haven’t forgotten. But it appears the EPA has.

Reading alphabet soup can be confusing. The FDA, USDA and EPA all seem to cross over each other when it comes to what happens with food.

Recently, the EPA made a ruling on the use of a chemical that’s used for a variety of products, including sanitizing cleaners for facilities of food industry providers and restaurants. The chemical will show up in processed foods.

Government safety agencies safeguard industry profits, not health and safety

An August 22, 2012 Courthouse News edition contained a short article entitled “More Ammonia Now Allowed in Processed Food.” It was a reference to the EPA’s latest revision for limits using Didecyl Dimethyl Ammonium in the carbonate or bicarbonate form (DDACB). Focus on ammonia.

The former limit of 240 ppm (parts per million) was raised to 400 ppm. A petition to raise the allowed limit was issued to the EPA by a principle provider of the chemical, Lonza, according to the Courthouse News press release.

The reason for limiting DDACB is residual amounts of highly toxic ammonia used in food facilities are carried by the foods and consumed.

According to the EPA’s own document on the ruling, those industries affected (favorably) by the increased DDACB toxicity allowance are: Dairy, food manufacturing, beverage manufacturing, and pesticide producers. (EPA, Source below)

Notice that one company submitted a petition and the EPA granted an approval. But hold on, when has an alphabet soup agency really responded to a mass petition on raw milk or GMOs?  Never would be a close enough answer.

These agencies only respond to industry demands regardless of their health or safety risks.

Adding more toxicity and GMOs into the food chain are not given a second thought by the government’s “protective” agencies. The revolving door between government and industry spins quickly with highly paid industry lobbyists the only ones getting access to easily corrupted politicians.

On rare occasions, huge petitions, email, call-in, or mail-in campaigns will thwart threatening legislation. But those hard won victorious battles serve as retreats for key legislators to come back with slightly different wording or sneak industry sponsored rulings into newly proposed or existing legislation later.

Meanwhile, petitions to federal administration agencies for labeling GMOs are ignored, and a petition to allow raw milk federally was responded with boiler plate official nonsense.

The list of dangerous drugs, pesticides, chemical additives, and GMOs that are rubber stamped for approval by the FDA, EPA, and USDA without any precautionary wait periods is staggering. Ammonia (ammonia hydroxide) was also a toxic feature of “pink slime” used by the meat packing industry as a “hamburger helper.”

The ammonia compound was used to sanitize meat scraps from the floors of meat packing sites, then ground up with the rest of the beef and sold as hamburger meat.

Whistle blowers revealed this and somehow got the attention of the mainstream media enough to cause massive public awareness of pink slime in ground beef. The result was the major food distributor Cargill suffered a tremendous drop in its sales of ground beef and apparently began phasing out pink slime.

The last bastion for us peasants to fend off the oligarchy money interests’ slow kill with food and medicine may be mass boycotts. But enough have to know what should be boycotted and realize they don’t need it.

CDC caught in West Nile virus fear mongering campaign; mass chemical spraying WORSE than mosquitoes

Saturday, September 1

(NaturalNews) The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is currently engaged in a massive fear mongering campaign that would have everyone in America believe that the so-called West Nile virus (WNv) is spreading uncontrollably like wildfire. Though the CDC admits that only a miniscule percentage of people have even a remote chance of contracting the virus, the agency is still pushing for the mass spraying of cities with toxic pesticides, and actively encouraging people to coat themselves in toxic DEET chemicals to deter mosquitoes.

We recently reported on the misguided efforts of Texas officials to blanket Dallas-area towns and cities with cancer-causing “neuropoisons” as a solution to the supposed WNv crisis (http://www.naturalnews.com), despite the fact that only a few individuals, who were presumably already immunocompromised, died across the state.  Now, the agency is continuing its scare campaign by pushing people everywhere to spray their bodies with DEET bug spray, which is potentially even more dangerous that contracting WNv.

DEET
can damage the human nervous system

DEET, which is known chemically as N,N-diethyl-meta-toluamide, is an insect repellant chemical that was originally developed by the U.S. Army back in 1946, and later made available to consumers in 1957. It is widely used today as the active ingredient in conventional mosquito repellant sprays, and is claimed by many to be a safe, behavior-modifying chemical that does not interfere with human health in any way.

But a 2010 study published in the journal BioMed Central Biology reveals that DEET actually appears to repel mosquitoes and other insects by interfering with the normal function of their nervous systems, rather than just modifying their behavior. Specifically, DEET appears to inhibit a key neurological enzyme, acetylcholinesterase, which is a precursor to the neurotransmitter substance acetylcholine. This inhibiting effect is similar to the one brought about by exposure to toxic nerve gases, or organophosphate insecticides. (http://www.naturalnews.com/029136_deet_toxic.html)

What this means is that the human nervous system is susceptible to neurological damage from DEET exposure as well, which in more extreme cases can mean permanent brain damage or even death. In other words, encouraging the masses to spray themselves with DEET to protect against WNv is akin to telling a person who works in a battery acid factory to preemptively expose himself to equally dangerous neutralizing chemicals just in case he happens to come in contact with the acid chemicals.

Why isn’t the CDC encouraging people to eat immune-boosting superfoods and supplements in order to naturally avoid WNv?

All this sky-spraying and body-spraying advice by the CDC completely neglects any recommendation to the public to actually try to boost their own natural immune systems to avoid WNv infection. A recent CDC announcement put out by CNN explains that only one in 500 mosquitoes is even infected with WNv, and 80 percent of people who get bitten by an infected mosquito will not show any visible symptoms or become sick in any way.

Among the 20 percent that do show symptoms, only about one half of one percent will develop anything close to severe symptoms, and most of these individuals will be over 50 years of age and have already weakened immune systems. When computed statistically, this translates into a virtually zero percent chance that the average person will experience any health problems associated with WNv, should they be among the miniscule few that even contract it in the first place.

Rather than endorse the dousing of the entire population in health-destroying pesticide chemicals and bug sprays, the CDC should instead be advising people to simply fortify their bodies with immune-boosting superfoods like cruciferous vegetables, omega-3 foods and oils, vitamin D, spirulina, and others, which would help naturally prevent WNv infection from gaining hold and manifesting symptoms.

West Nile: they’re lying to you again

Friday, August 24

(NaturalNews) The government PR machine has swung into high gear promoting West Nile disease. It’s a “national outbreak.” 1138 cases in 38 states. 41 deaths. Planes are spraying toxic aerial pesticides.

Never mind that the US Centers for Disease Control claims 36,000 people die every year from ordinary seasonal flu — and there are no announcements of an “epidemic” or an “outbreak.”

Never mind that the World Health Organization (WHO) claims between 250,000 and 500,000 people die every year from ordinary seasonal flu — and this isn’t called an “epidemic” or an “outbreak.”

If you added up the death count from all the hyped and predicted epidemics of the last decade, including West Nile, SARS, bird flu, weaponized smallpox, and Swine Flu, the total would come to about one year of deaths in the US from ordinary flu.

But who cares about facts?
What’s important is how much fear can be generated.
That’s the statistic that counts, when you’re talking about the CDC or WHO.

And when it comes to the public, it seems that some people feel a morbid attraction for viruses. Every time a new one is announced, they rub their hands together and say, “This is the big one! It’s going to spread like wildfire!”

Other people, involved in natural health, who reject huge amounts of conventional medical wisdom, nonetheless make the mistake of buying the virus of the moment. They automatically accept it as real and then figure out how to treat it naturally. That can be a big mistake.

Have researchers ever actually isolated (found) the West Nile virus? You should be asking that question.

You should always question what the CDC tells you.

The deepest form of medical-research chicanery comes when scientists claim they’ve found a new virus and they haven’t. They haven’t nailed it down. They say they have, but that’s not true.

People have a hard time fathoming this. They will accept the fact that a medical drug touted as miraculous really causes heart attacks, strokes, and death, but for some reason The Virus is sacred territory. “Scientists would never lie about that.” Really? Why not?

Do you think discovering a new virus is like dipping a tweezer into a dish of liquid and picking out a little critter who is shaking his legs? And therefore, nobody can lie about it, because it’s either there or not? No, that’s not the way it works.

A new virus is discovered by taking a tissue sample suspected of harboring it; then that sample must be transferred to a fine filter that will trap the virus. That’s how the initial all-important isolation process is begun.

In the case of West Nile, this was attempted in 1999. It was called a success, but there was a major problem. As I stated in a previous article:

Researchers claim the West Nile virus is 0.04 micrometers. At the same time, they admit that the original fishing expedition for the virus employed filters that were 0.22 micrometers. The obvious conclusion? The filter was too porous. It was nearly six times larger than the virus.
http://abcnews.go.com/Health/story?id=117258&page=4

In fact, Robert McLean, director of the National Wildlife Center of the US Geological Survey, told ABC’s Nick Regush, “We don’t have a purified form of the [West Nile] virus.”

A stunning admission.

The late ABC reporter, Regush, followed up on McLean’s pronouncement with this: “I find no evidence anywhere in the scientific literature that the rules of virus purification and isolation were thoroughly followed [in the case of the West Nile virus].”

People respond to these assertions with an accusatory tone: “Then what’s making people sick? Why are people dying?”

People getting sick and dying doesn’t necessarily have a connection to why health authorities are telling you they’re dying.

If a newspaper reported that a hurricane in Missouri killed 12 people, and then you discovered there had been no hurricane, would you insist on pretending there was, because 12 people died? No, of course not. You would assume the people died for other reasons.

It’s the same situation with West Nile. People get sick and die all the time. If the virus that supposedly is causing an outbreak of illness has never been found, you look for other causes.

Again, from my previous article:
There are some good reasons people in the Dallas area are getting sick. These reasons have nothing to do with “West Nile.”

A decade ago, independent journalist, Jim West, launched an original investigation into the so-called “West Nile epidemic” in New York City.
http://www.naturalhorse.com/archive/volume4/Issue6/article_8.php

West correlated clusters of human and bird “West Nile” cases with several factors; among them, nearby polluting oil refineries, other air pollution (certainly exacerbated by hot summer weather), and the presence of toxic MTBE, an additive that makes gasoline in cars burn cleaner.

There are listings for at least eight refineries in the Dallas area. There are also reports of increased air pollution coming from natural gas production in the Barnett Shale. The 2012 summer has been hot. As of of the year 2000, Texas refineries were producing 75% of all the MTBE in the United States.

And since this has been a very hot and dry summer in other areas of the US, high-air-pollution locales have intensified.

Am I saying that the never-isolated “West Nile virus” might be functioning as a cover story, to conceal what is really making people sick? Absolutely.

As an illustration, the medical history of the African continent is replete with such cover stories. Over and over, germs have been heralded as the cause of people dying in great numbers.

Centuries-old causes of ongoing death in Africa were intentionally overlooked: contaminated water supplies; horrible sanitation; overcrowding; generation-to-generation malnutrition and starvation; stolen farm land.

Most Americans automatically assume the arrival of western doctors with drugs and vaccines is a good sign for Africa. Nothing could be further from the truth. The doctors are sent there to cover up the truth.

Why? Because many interested parties, powerful players inside and outside of Africa, want the true and persisting causes of illness and death to remain, in order to keep the population weak and controllable. It’s easy to hide this agenda by advertising a fake disease-cause and a fake medical remedy. Medical intervention will never cure what’s ailing Africa. If you walked through a swamp of filthy contaminated water every day on your way to work, do you think a course of antibiotics would keep you healthy?

Here in America, when various toxic environmental causes of illness bring people down, there needs to be a cover story as well. The most believable cover is The Virus. It works. People stand up and salute it. They’re saluting it now in Dallas and other places.

I don’t care how many pictures of how many mosquitoes are adorning television screens and newspapers. “Oh, the mosquito carries the West Nile virus!” Really? Even if no one ever found such a virus?

Buy the virus story if you want to. Everyone has that freedom. But science is supposed to be about proof, and in the case of West Nile, it’s all supposition and presumption and lying.

The medical PR machine will grind on. New stories will appear. “The worst summer ever.” “New deaths from West Nile.” “More mosquitoes carrying the deadly West Nile virus found.” “The very young and elderly at greatest risk.” “Medical experts try to discover why West Nile returned with a fury.”

How many people will give in at each new barrage of propaganda and accept the virus story?

Remember Swine Flu? The whole planet was going to go down. In the end, WHO announced the total global death figure as 20,000. Then, in a mindless burst of revisionism this year, the total was changed to 580,000.

Here’s a number for you. Three maniacal spokespeople from the CDC, backed by five major television networks, can brainwash the public about a virus in seven days.

Use these tips to detox after exposure to aerial or ground sprayed pesticides

Wednesday, August 22, 2012

(NaturalNews) If you live in an area which is being blanketed with aerial or ground spraying of pesticides for mosquitoes, it is virtually impossible to completely avoid exposure.  However, there is plenty you can do to help get the pesticides out of your body and offset their effects.

Tips for eliminating pesticides from the body

Most toxins are eliminated in bile via the liver. In addition to commercial cleansing products, a wide variety of foods, supplements and healthy practices can help flush and eliminate pesticides and other toxins from the liver, gall bladder, colon, kidneys and blood:

* Glutathione is the body’s natural detoxifier which enables the liver to remove toxins from the body. N-Acetyl Cysteine helps the body produce glutathione. Likewise, coffee enemas increase glutathione production and also help keep the bile ducts open.

* One “must have” item is milk thistle, which is wonderful for overall liver health as well as a great detoxifier. For more liver health recommendations, see:
http://www.naturalnews.com/031243_liver_health.html

* Essiac Tea is a great overall cleanser which is noted for its cancer-fighting abilities. One of the pesticides commonly employed for ground spraying, permethrin, is considered by the EPA as “likely to be carcinogenic to humans” if consumed.

* About one quarter of the toxins in your body are eliminated through the skin. Saunas and hot baths help sweat toxins out. To see how to use a healing and detoxing bath at home:
http://www.naturalnews.com/033373_mineral_baths_health.html

* Clay baths are extremely effective for pulling all kinds of toxins out of the body. The best clay for detoxification is calcium montmorillonite.

* Pantethine is an often overlooked supplement which can be essential opening up roadblocks pesticides create which prevent the body from being able to absorb, use or deploy sufficient amounts of natural detox items.

* Activated Charcoal is safe to consume and very potent. Take 20-30 grams a day in divided doses mixed with water for one to two weeks.

* Citrus pectin is one of the most powerful detoxifying substances to be found and, though it eliminates toxic metals, it doesn’t deplete your body of zinc, calcium or magnesium.

* Be sure to eat plenty of alkaline foods such as fruits and vegetables. Alkaline bodies are better able to flush toxins.

* Fiber helps your liver flush out toxins by transporting them out of your digestive system. Eat two to three servings of fiber-rich foods daily. Dietary sources of fiber include whole grain breads and cereals, flax seed, barley, beans and fresh or dried prunes.

* Toxins tend to collect in the fat around tissues like your liver. Grapefruit contains a flavonoid called naringenin that reprograms your liver to melt excess fat, instead of storing it.

* Garlic boosts the ability of your white blood cells to fight the effects of toxins.

* Lemons and asparagus have proven abilities to reduce pesticide levels.

* Eggs help remove toxins and also increase energy levels.

* Vitamin C is essential for our ability to neutralize the effects of toxins.

* Magnesium is essential for over 300 body processes.

* Selenium is important for the production of an enzyme that helps to detoxify your body.

* Dandelion root stimulates bile production and acts as a diuretic for excess water.

* Used by Native Americans for centuries, sarsaparilla is a great tasting tea and an effective blood detoxifier.

* Burdock Root increases urine and perspiration.

* 10-12 glasses of clean water daily helps flush toxins from your body.

* Skin brushing reduces the fatigue caused by pesticide exposure. It also helps the lymph drainage system flush toxins from your system.

* Exercise 30 minutes to one hour daily to bring more oxygen-rich blood to your kidneys and liver, allowing them to eliminate toxins more effectively.

Cities, counties nationwide begin mass aerial sprayings of toxic ‘anti-West Nile Virus’ pesticides

Monday, August 20, 201Human Dusting

(NaturalNews) Dallas County, Texas, and several nearby towns and cities in the Dallas area are currently being forcibly sprayed with toxic insecticides as part of a government effort to supposedly eradicate mosquitoes that may be carriers of West Nile virus (WNv).  The mass sprayings, which are ramping up all across the country, involve blanketing entire areas with chemicals sprayed via airplanes, a highly controversial protocol that threatens not only all other insects and animals exposed, but also humans.

According to the City of Dallas, more than 380 state-confirmed cases of WNv have been reported throughout Texas this year, and at least 16 people in the Lone Star State have died in conjunction with the virus. The specifics of these cases and deaths have not been publicly released, but authorities insist that the situation is serious enough to warrant a series of at least three conjunctive aerial sprayings throughout Dallas County, including in Highland Park and University Park.

Aerial mosquito spraying is common in greater Houston TX area. (abc13 news video Fri Aug 17 2012)

Aerial spraying chemicals linked to causing Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD)

The chemical product being sprayed is known as Duet, an “advanced dual-action mosquito adulticide” that contains both sumithrin, the active ingredient in another mosquito pesticide known as Anvil, and prallethrin. Both chemicals are known to be highly-toxic neuropoisons that target not only mosquitoes, but also bees, bats, fish, crickets, and various other animals and insects (http://www.clarke.com/images/pdf/MSDS/2012MSDS/duet-msds.pdf).

Sumithrin, a synthetic pyrethroid, is known to kill bees, and is linked to the widespread bee die-off phenomenon known as Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD). In tests, sumithrin has been shown to damage human kidneys and the liver, and is also linked to causing both liver and breast cancers. Household pets exposed to sumithrin are also at risk of serious health complications, as are fish and other aquatic animals (http://www.pesticide.org).

Prallethrin, another synthetic pyrethroid, is hardly any better. A 1993 study published in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives suggests that prallethrin is a human endocrine disruptor. And like sumithrin, prallethrin is highly toxic to bees and other creatures besides just mosquitoes, threatening to very seriously disrupt the natural ecosystem of areas sprayed with it (http://www.pesticideinfo.org/Detail_Chemical.jsp?Rec_Id=PC35755).

Trust us, we’re from the government

Despite all this, officials continue to publicly insist that the spraying chemicals, the details of which are not being openly disclosed, are harmless to humans, though there is no legitimate scientific evidence to back this claim. Instead, residents are simply being told that the sprayings are safe and necessary — and many local residents seem content with this, having little or no concern about the harmful consequences of exposure.

In a recent photo published by the San Francisco Gate, for instance, local residents can be seen enjoying themselves on an outside patio at a local Dallas bar while spraying planes bombard them with chemicals overhead. As you will notice, these individuals appear to be amused by the large, toxic plumes in the sky (http://www.sfgate.com).

The same report explains that many local residents have been largely “unfazed” by the sprayings, and even the warnings to stay indoors while they are taking place. Many local residents have reportedly continued on with their normal routines despite the sprayings, including jogging on outside trails and engaging in other outdoor activities (http://www.sfgate.com).

Meanwhile, cities in Illinois (http://www.suntimes.com), California (http://www.nctimes.com), Massachusetts (http://www.boston.com), Pennsylvania (http://salisbury.patch.com), and elsewhere are also conducting their own aerial sprayings for WNv at the recommendation of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Aerial mosquito spraying ineffective, unsafe

According to research compiled by the group Stop West Nile Virus Spraying Now (http://www.stopwestnilesprayingnow.org/), aerial spraying endeavors are not even effective at preventing the transmission of WNv. Dr. Wallace LeStourgeon, a molecular biologist from Vanderbilt University in Tennessee, says there is no evidence to show that aerial sprayings legitimately fight West Nile Virus (http://www.stopwestnilesprayingnow.org/Evidence.htm).

Contrary to the reassurances of public officials, there is also no evidence that aerial spraying chemicals are safe for humans. A Center for Public Integrity review of data compiled by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) shows that pyrethrin chemicals can cause severe reactions in many people, and may be responsible for injuring and killing far more people than they theoretically save from dying of WNv.

“Both peer-reviewed scientific research and mathematical modeling demonstrate that spraying is ineffective for WNv,” says a recent report by California Progress Report. “A model widely used for infectious diseases produced two important conclusions when applied to WNv transmission: 1) early, sufficient treatment for mosquito larvae is the key to control; 2) treatment aimed at adults later in the season cannot possibly eradicate the virus.”

First and foremost, I want to welcome each and every one of you to our humble endeavor to bring a safe and effective flea & tick control alternative to pet owners desperate to rid themselves and their beloved companions of deadly synthetic chemicals.

We have learned of some rather malicious urban legends creeping across the web like a hot Texas zephyr.  These scary, misguided myths are so alarming that it would cause any pet owner, including me, to run for our lives from any product containing cedar oil, particularly those of us hopelessly in love with the often quirky, always enchanting feline persuasion. Perhaps here, once and for all, we can put a lid on this tempest in a teapot…

All Cedar Oil isn’t created equally.
This is a major vexation for our opponents and competitors.

As usual, the most dangerous untruths are truths moderately distorted, as is the case with the claims in question.  A little bit of information in the hands of the wrong person can cause havoc in the total industry. Let’s see if I can tackle these “cedar oil, essential oil toxicity and cat concerns” directly, without giving away too much of the secret stuff. There are two frequently asked questions we get at least 10 times a week from customers, entomologists and researchers, even competitors that demonstrate the valid and sincere concerns stirred up by the uninformed and negative raving we have read:

First, “Why does the cedar oil from CedarCide instantaneously kill parasites like fleas, ticks, bed bugs, lice etc., while the cedar oil from other sources does not?”

Second, “Why is CedarCide cedar oil safe to use on felines while others’ cedar oil is quite toxic to cats?”

Doc Ben Oldag, Dave Glassel and Martin McGregor in the CedarCide Laboratories

It was no easy chore to take a native junk tree, (Juniperus Virginiana L. Cupressaceae, a.k.a. the Texas Red Cedar) an historical nuisance for Texas farmers and ranchers, and transform it into a modern biological pesticide, nor did it happen overnight. Hardly, this was a 20-year-long labor of love that we finally got right with help from a number of bright minds. They say that even a blind hog finds an acorn once in a while.  What I mean to say is, we got very lucky folks. We are very proud of Best Yet and we are equally delighted that our formulations continue to baffle the entirety of the pest control industry.  Did you know that there are some 335 species of cedar trees?  Perhaps 100 of these are actually not cedar trees at all.   They are cypress trees, yet they are known as cedar trees and have been called cedar trees for ages. Did you know that cedar oil contains well over 100 different sub elements, half of which do not yet have a name?

Let’s look at some of the legitimate and, I believe, important items included within the negative web claims.   It is true that the feline members of our family cannot metabolize essential oils.  It is also quite correct that oil derived from the Western Redcedar Thuja plicata (actually a species of cypress tree), is potentially deadly when used on animals.
WRC oil has all of the nasty things mentioned on the web … and more.

Now for a critical distinction, the cedar oil used by CedarCide.com is not harvested from the Western Redcedar, rather the Texas Red Cedar, a completely different tree.  Additionally, all of our oil, unlike “other cedar/essential oils” has been significantly modified based on proprietary discoveries we have made by analyzing and testing cedar oils over the last two decades. (No we didn’t invent cedar oil. We just perfected it…) How?  The reason our cedar oil works and others’ cedar oil does not work (for flea & tick control) and the reason our oil is safe for use on cats and kittens is due to how we modify our oil. We fractionate every drop of our cedar oil to remove any of the naturally occurring toxic substances including the “phenols” and “terpenes” known to be dangerous to cats as well as other smaller mammals.

I do not recommend formulating insect control solutions for the animal health industry from any kind of cedar oil other than ours. First of all, it probably will not work as it is low on the ingredients needed to kill or repel insects.  Second, it will have certain components that could make an animal ill.  It took me many years to formulate insect control grade cedar oil that could be used on cats and dogs.  The aromatherapy grades will not work.

Remember this, our very first patients were our very own beloved pets.  All of our initial testing was done on cats and dogs owned by dear neighbors, friends and friend’s families. Had we not achieved flawless safety results, with zero toxicity, we would have been back at the drawing board, not to mention lynched by our own friends and family. Over the years since the inception of Best Yet, we have accumulated an abundance of anecdotal corroboration that Best Yet is indeed safe and effective when applied to felines.  Today there are thousands of customers worldwide using Best Yet safely and effectively on cats, dogs, babies and great grandparents. Rest assured, what I formulate is entirely safe for use on the feline species.  I have 11 of my own cats treated periodically to prove it.

For more information, or to order one of my insect control formulations made specifically for cats and dogs, go to the CedarCide.com website.  And please, take a moment and watch the History of Cedar Oil video.  It will further enlighten you on cedar oil technology.  As to the hydrated silica, that is a cosmetic fluid used worldwide in the manufacturing of toothpaste, deodorant, hair jells and sprays and skin lotions.  The compound is actually a silane fluid and has no silica left in the formulation, perfectly safe for animal and human use with a zero toxicity level.

As far as the negative claims on the web go, I think Mark Twain sums it up best –

One of the most striking differences between a cat and a lie
is that a cat has only nine lives
